Support Our Dancers

Once people learn our goals as an organization, they often want to become involved in some way. We love the community spirit behind trying to make a difference for some of our most at-risk people in society: children who are either living through trauma and/or are living under the poverty line.

Transformation Station seeks to give these children opportunities they probably would not have otherwise, yet they so desperately need. A big part of what we do is offer scholarships to students who cannot afford to take classes. Our classes average $67 a month, which may seem like a small amount but for many living at or below the poverty line, it’s insurmountable.

How you can help

A major way that community members can become involved in our mission is to help us financially. As a 501c3 organization, we are able to offer tax receipts for proof of donation in most cases and we are delighted to have several ways for you as a community to change lives.

Direct Donation

We can accept direct financial donations either via check or PayPal. We also often offer students free or reduced cost dance equipment including shoes, leotards, and tights. If you have clean, gently-used items, we can also accept those at our dance studio, Elite Dance Studio in Johnson.

Facebook Birthdays

Do you have a Facebook account and a birthday? You can help us raise scholarship money for Transportation Station!

You may have noticed that Facebook allows you to choose, share about your experience, and then raise money for your favorite charity to celebrate your birthday each year. This feature lets you create awareness in your friend groups surrounding the causes you’re passionate about and it gives financial support to the causes you care most about.

Keep an eye out on Facebook about three weeks before your birthday. You will be asked if you want to set up a fundraiser in honor of your latest trip around the sun.

What’s cool is, Facebook doesn’t charge any fees so everything you raise goes to support us.
